In Sanibel Island, Sundial Beach Resort rents windsurfers,
scuba diving equipment, catamarans, and sailboats. It has a jogging
trail and can arrange golf outings. The island has two public golf
courses.
Adventurous souls may want to take leave of the
beach paradise and embark on an Everglades Day Safari. Departing
from Sanibel, the safari takes you on a search for Florida manatees,
gators, and crocodiles and whizzes you through the River of Grass
in an airboat.
